Superstick(tm) is our regular cushion. Black, high density, 8 pound, 1/8" foam with very aggressive adhesive. This is the stuff that the Poet has milled to his own strict specifications by a defense contractor who now has excess capacity, thanks to the peacetime dividend. So keep buying stamps from us and we'll keep one defense contractor from reverting back to their old trade of mass death and destruction. Sold in 9x12" sheets for $3.75 postpaid. Foreign orders (besides Canada) add $5.00 per order for Global Priority mail.
Magic Cling(tm) is the same as Superstick but with the aggressive adhesive on only one side to adhere to your mounted dies; the other side has a layer of vinyl that utilizes static electricity to cling to a clear acrylic handle, or any other smooth clean vinyl handle holder you may want to employ. It is a real boon for stampers that have very large collections of unmounted dies and limited space for storage to have a small set of handles for the entire collection The advantages are obvious if you live in a small studio apartment where a large traditional wood-mounted collection would take over every horizontal surface, closet, and oven you own! Sold in 9x10" sheets for $4.00 postpaid. Foreign orders (besides Canada) add $5.00 per order for Global Priority mail. Such a deal! See instructions below.

Brief instructions for using Magic Cling(tm) and acrylic handles with unmounted rubber stamps (henceforth referred to as dies)
Trim the dies you want to mount first, using a sharp scissors; make sure not to undercut the designs, and leave at least a 1/16" margin around the outside. Peel off the white backing paper on the Magic Cling from the adhesive side( NOT THE VINYL FROM THE OTHER SIDE!!!) and, like a jigsaw puzzle, arrange the dies in the most efficient use of material. Make sure not to put the dies so close together that you can't cut them apart without undercutting or dragging the blade of the scissors across any dies. Once you have them arranged, carefully cut them out, leaving the finer detailed trimming for last.
Now you have all of your Magic Cling-mounted dies cut out. Take an acrylic handle (if it's one from the Poet, peel off the paper on both sides first!) and make sure that the handle and Magic Cling surfaces are clean and free of dust. Simply press a die onto the handle, and give it a good squeeze for suction's sake, and voila, it sticks, thanks to the magic of static electricity!
Here are a few tricks that make it stick even better: rub both handle and Magic Cling side of die on a dry piece of cloth to develop more static electricity; blow on them with moist breath, adding a very fine moisture to give some more adhesive power. Lastly, especially for larger dies, use a second piece of vinyl placed between the handle and the cling, making a vinyl-to-vinyl interface, for an even more secure bond. Most hobby or craft shops have sheets of vinyl. However, if you are not in a vinyl-rich environment, we can supply you with a scrap for a 60 cent SASE.
